Do yourself a favor and keep on looking...

I'd probably love these apartments if I were the first and ONLY tenant in the unit. Unfortunately, that is not the case. What you don't find out about these apartments until after you've signed your lease is that they are extremely cheaply built. There is little or no insulation between the upstairs- and downstairs-units, so you hear every little bit of noise from your neighbors. And not just partying noise, but, and because the apartments are so cheaply made, you hear your neighbors going to the bathroom---not just flushing, but actually GOING...YUCK!!!!!---you hear every foot step they make, you hear every shower they take, you hear every pipe rattling. And you really hear your neighbors come and go if you live on the first floor, because the staircase that your neighbors take to their place upstairs runs right through a closet that's in your apartment. You hear it all (and don't even get me started on OUR toilet that just runs and runs and runs). And if that's not enough, your neighbor's front door light shines right in your bedroom window. You have no control over it, so the light shines in all night long. Nor do you have any control over the door slamming into your bedroom wall as they come and go through their front door.

Still interested in this apartment? Then let me tell you about the dish washer. It's the only oneI've ever seen where the dishes go in cleaner than they come out. No, really. After the "dish washer" is finished, you'll find a mysterious layer of specks and crumbs on the glasses in the top rack, and still-dirty utensils in the bottom. As a test, we washed by hand a bunch of glasses, cups, bowls and plates, and loaded the spotlessly clean dishes in the dishwasher and ran them through the wash cycle. When we opened the door, we found that strange coating of crumbly specks on everything. Weird. And management isn't willing to do anything about any of this. So, if you are still interested in moving into Scioto Crossing Apartments, be sure to bring your ear plugs, eye masks, and a large, econo size bottle of Dawn since you'll be doing a lot of dishes by hand.

YUCK!!!!
Here's the dirt that was wiped off a load of dishes after the dish washer is done "cleaning." If you want to live at Scioto Crossings Apartments, get ready to wash your dishes by hand in the sink!

I live in these crappy apartments. Do you think if we came together that everyone could get our money back from these scammers? The reason why its so dusty is because the cooling system pipes aren't connected to the vents. I'm having all of the same problems and a few more. NO ONE in the office ever acts like anyone else has had these type of problems and that I am the only one complaining--especially when I complain about the people noise and noise from the pipes.
